at just 5-weeks-old, this little one was alert!  She didn't miss a one single photo...not even a tiny cat nap.  What a cutie!  Such a pleasure to meet you little one...

I have been waiting for months to hear about this little one's arrival and pair together the "before and after" shots from the pregnancy and newborn sessions.  While I am still working on the final edit, here are a few of my favorites so far...so great to meet you little one!

While editing these recent images from a newborn session this week, I am just in love with the beautiful simplicity of the b&w images set against black..hands down my favorite way to capture a newborn!  We actually set up the shots in the client's kitchen and the wall of windows and skylights made for the perfect little studio...

when baby makes three...or is it four?

I have never met a dog so eager to be photographed as this little guy here...I think he's noticed that there have been some big changes at home lately...

and after way too many weather delays and having to re-schedule our session at least 3 times (welcome to New England in the winter!), we finally had a beautiful, bright day and I was able to finally meet this adorable new baby girl...
